Found. Still lost. A Free Community Healing Poetry and Art Workshop with Author Ashley Nicole Walkowiak

On Saturday, October 22nd, we are welcoming our dear friend, artist, activist and poet Ashley Nicole Walkowiak to the Bodhi Tree Art Studio for a free, healing afternoon of trauma and grief related poetry and art making! We will be delving deep into the subjects of trauma, grief and loss in this workshop, so anyone 15 years of age to adult is welcome, no prior art or poetry experience required. Ashley will be speaking and leading us through our art and writing projects which are designed to be healing experiences through expression and creativity.

This workshop is free to the community, but registering online here will give us the chance to answer any questions you may have prior to attending.

Later that evening, Ashley will be hosting an all-ages-welcome poetry open mic at The Cooperage Project on Main Street in Honesdale! This event is your chance to read your own work aloud, read a beloved poet or song writer’s work, or to just hang out with good company and listen to the word crafters work their magic. There is a $5 suggested donation to The Cooperage Project for this event. Ashley’s book of poetry Found. Still lost. will be available for purchase at both locations.
